Full course description

Join this eight week, online program, “Role of the Executive Officer,” for a jump start in exploring the top “need to know” issues identified by executive officers.  Whether you just began in this role, aspire to it or are preparing to teach the one who follows you before you retire, this course will give you a jump start in the role.  The first four weeks includes a focus on the origin of boards of nursing, laws, rules and roles to name a few.

As Henry David Thoreau once wrote: “It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look, which morally we can do. To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts.”

Join in and explore how to affect the quality of the day!
