Investigators new to their field will benefit from this course’s consistent, comprehensive and specialized training while developing essential knowledge and skills that advance their careers. Nursing regulatory bodies (NRBs) investigate complaints and allegations of violations of laws or rules governing nursing practice. These investigations must be sophisticated, expedient and thorough to protect the public.
Investigators will grow their potential through knowledge and skill building, networking with peers regarding a variety of topics, including:
- Discipline principles, procedures and proceedings
- Planning for investigations
- Effective interviewing skills
- Managing a variety of cases
- Communicating investigative findings and final determinations
