Full course description
To work in regulation is to be a leader. Being an effective leader, however, takes more than just a commitment to your organization’s goals. As a result, regulators must be able to effectively engage with others in various leadership frameworks, practice self-reflection, and drive forward the organization's mission through strategic planning and financial acumen.
Whether interacting with policymakers, other regulators, or the public; sound decision-making, excellent communication, and a strong sense of self-awareness are essential skills that all good leaders must possess. In this course, Dr. Marion Broome will hone learners’ analytical and strategic skills to enhance their organizational savvy, their decision making and their self-presentation in both intra- and interprofessional groups. This course facilitates learners’ leadership journey; providing content and learning activities that are relevant to the current challenges and opportunities in regulation.
