Full course description
While public speaking is often seen as a skill people either have or don't, NCSBN Director of Outreach Jason A. Schwartz will demonstrate in this class that it is a skill anyone can improve through training and practice. Often it is a short list of very simple things that distinguish strong presentations from ineffective ones. Learn the techniques and tricks that improve your speaking ability and presentation skills in this 8-week ICRS course.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Speak and present with confidence.
- Overcome the top obstacles to poor presentations.
- Learn the simple techniques and tricks that improve any presentation.
Course Information
This course will have a live discussion on Tuesday, January 14th from 2-3 p.m. CST. Attendance is recommended, but not required.
