Kentucky Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Jurisprudence Examination

This course was developed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing for APRN applicants. At the end of the course is the jurisprudence examination, which must be completed by all licensure applicants.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• To provide nurses and other stakeholders with a concise explanation of the Kentucky Nursing Laws (KRS 314), Administrative Regulations (Title 201, Chapter 20), and Advisory Opinions
• To serve as a guide for nurses and establish a foundation for safe, competent practice in delivering quality care to all citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
• To prepare participants to successfully pass the Kentucky APRN Jurisprudence Examination
