Full course description
The purpose of this course is to provide you with general information regarding:
- Nursing regulation
- Investigatory processes
- The handling of disciplinary cases
- Examples of the types of cases that are most common among boards of nursing
The course will also provide examples of how specific types of cases may be investigated including the use of an investigative plan and data collection. The significance of and mechanisms for communicating the investigatory findings will also be discussed.
Course Information
Please note that completion of this course will only provide CE credits. While Foundations of Regulation courses are designed to enhance and compliment courses in the ICRS Certificate Program, credits toward graduation are not awarded.
