Full course description

NCSBN 101 is an introduction to the organization for NRB members and staff. It provides a thorough study of the history of NCSBN, its purpose, its mission and explains what NCSBN offers as the preeminent leader in regulatory excellence. The goal is to promote and encourage the utilization of NCSBN products and services.

The completion of this course will enable you to:

  • Explain the key functions and initiatives of the NCSBN organization.
  • Describe the purpose and mechanisms for nursing regulation in the U.S.
  • Identify NCSBN resources and volunteer opportunities to facilitate the work and responsibilities of an NRB member.

Course Information

Please note that completion of this course will only provide CE credits. While Foundations of Regulation courses are designed to enhance and compliment courses in the ICRS Certificate Program, credits toward graduation are not awarded.
