Full course description

Ensure the right level of involvement as you care for clients

Finding and maintaining the balance between developing a caring, therapeutic nurse-patient relationship and becoming overinvolved is a challenge for every nurse. Your goal is to maintain a high level of client trust while practicing in a manner consistent with professional nursing standards.

Professional Boundaries in Nursing will help you identify the small decisions that contribute to boundary issues and then implement preventive strategies. You’ll consider the difference between boundary crossings, boundary violations and professional sexual misconduct, while forming strategies to prevent these in your nurse-client relationships.
